Our payment gateway
Card payments on this website are processed by eWAY, our payment gateway provider. eWAY complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), the security standard set by Visa, Mastercard and the other card schemes for handling card data.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay. All payments are made in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
How your card details are handled
- You enter your card details on eWAY's secure payment page, not on the Astro Hospitality website.
- Card details travel only between your browser and eWAY, encrypted with TLS (the padlock in your browser's address bar).
- We never see, receive or store your full card number or security code. We only receive confirmation that the payment succeeded.
- Payments are protected by 3D Secure (Visa Secure and Mastercard Identity Check), so your bank may ask you to confirm a payment.
Our website
The whole website is served over HTTPS. Account passwords are stored only in hashed form, and our staff cannot see them.

If you think a payment on your card is not genuine, contact your bank first, then email hello@astro.net.nz or call 0800 466 966.
